LONDON, 12 October 2026 – The Motor Industry Communicators Association (MICA) has partnered with London International Motor Show (LIMS) to involve members in the event’s return.

As communications partner, MICA is shaping the show’s external engagement strategy to increase its profile among vehicle manufacturers, their suppliers and agencies.

The fifth LIMS, resuming next year after an eight-year absence, brings fresh use of London’s ExCel for motoring news and exhibits in the capital.  MICA will leverage the media preview on February 26^th to provide its audience with access, advance content and introductions.

Stephen Maitland-Oxley, LIMS director, said:  “London International Motor Show’s renaissance builds on today’s visitors’ high event expectations.  In February they will enjoy LIMS, alongside Motorsport Expo and Car Culture, under one roof, including test drives – all easily accessible in east London.”

Co-located with Motorsport Expo for race fans, and Car Culture’s grassroots passion, LIMS will be part of the largest indoor motoring event in the UK, combining new cars, automotive innovation, motoring culture and drive experiences.

LIMS’ test-drive facility will allow visitors to get behind the wheel and experience new vehicles on a curated drive route, providing a first-hand opportunity to decide whether a model is right for them.  For manufacturers, it moves the event beyond a static display and creates meaningful interaction with customers.

Oliver Rowe, MICA chair, said:  “We are always on the look out for new platforms to engage members with media, consumers and the wider automotive communications community.  Remembering previous London Motor Shows, we’re excited by its annual return.”

As part of MICA’s partnership with LIMS, the industry body for communicators and PRs is guiding show organisers on best use of the preview day for members, media and content creators, plus other influential commentators and VIPs.
