FindServiceHistory – Official Vehicle Service History Checks
Welcome
Instantly retrieve a vehicle's official digital service records direct from manufacturer databases. Enter a registration, and if we find records, you get the full report — if we find nothing, you pay nothing.
About Us
FindServiceHistory is a UK-based vehicle service history check service that retrieves official digital service records directly from manufacturer databases, covering 44+ car brands across the UK and Europe.
When buying a used car, a missing service book doesn’t mean the history is lost — most modern vehicles have their servicing logged digitally with the manufacturer. FindServiceHistory gives car buyers, sellers and motor trade professionals instant access to these records. Simply enter the vehicle registration and receive a detailed report showing service dates, mileage readings and the work carried out at franchised dealerships.
Every check is backed by our no-find, no-fee guarantee: your card is only charged if we successfully locate service records for the vehicle. Reports are delivered instantly online and by email as a downloadable PDF.
We serve private buyers checking a car before purchase, sellers looking to prove their vehicle’s history and maximise its value, and dealers who want to verify stock and reassure customers. Trade accounts with discounted rates are available for motor traders and dealerships.
FindServiceHistory is independently reviewed on Trustpilot and based in Bath, United Kingdom.
What we do
When you book a service at a UK franchised dealer, the work is logged into the manufacturer’s central system. That record stays linked to the vehicle’s VIN for life. FindServiceHistory queries those systems on your behalf and returns a clear PDF report with every electronically logged service entry — date, mileage, dealership, and work performed — alongside the full DVSA MOT history.
Who we serve
- Used car buyers verifying a seller’s claims before committing to a purchase
- Sellers proving a full service history with a downloadable, official record
- Owners who have lost their service book and need a digital replacement
- Motor dealers appraising part-exchanges and buying stock with confidence — see our trade pricing page — trade pricing page
Where the data comes from
Our service history data is sourced direct from manufacturer central dealer systems via licensed integrations. We do not estimate or aggregate — what you see is what your local main dealer would see if you walked in and asked.
MOT history is pulled from the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) and vehicle confirmation comes from the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service.
